Taking the time to clean your windows is essential for a healthy home. This spring cleaning task involves sanitizing, dusting, and polishing the glass panes. Gather Supplies

You need the right supplies to clean your windows thoroughly. Window cleaning supplies include a window cleaner, a few microfiber cloths, a vacuum, and a ladder. You can find all of these items in your local hardware store.

Prepare the Room

Whether you have a double-hung or picture window installation, the first step in cleaning your windows is to prepare the room that houses them.
