Why Fibrex® Material Is the Solution to Warped Windows

The warping of vinyl window frames is not a mystery. It’s a common occurrence because the material isn’t built to handle excessive heat. Extreme exposure to the sun causes vinyl to deform and to lose its structural integrity quickly.

Why Fibrex® Material Is the Solution to Warped WindowsWhy Fibrex® Material Is the Solution to Warped Windows

Renewal by Andersen® of Rapid City is fully aware of this phenomenon and offers an alternative for discerning homeowners that hate replacing warped windows regularly. Our exclusive Fibrex® material is immune to warping, and here’s why:

It’s a Composite

We use Fibrex to build the sash of our home replacement windows to harness the positives of wood and vinyl while eliminating the negatives.

We mix reclaimed wood fibers with thermoplastic polymers to remain strong over time and to be proof against moisture damage. During the manufacturing process, our special polymer formulation fills and surrounds each individual wood fiber.

It’s Guaranteed Not to Deform in Any Way

If you choose us for your double-hung, bay, sliding, and awning windows installation, you’ll get stellar warranties. One of which covers defects of components made of Fibrex, including cracks, flakes and blisters.

Our warranty is good for 10 years from the original installation date. In case of damage, we’ll take care of the replacement parts and labor.

It’s Been Scientifically Proven to Endure Extreme Conditions

The durability of our Fibrex has been validated by science. A few years ago, we removed 10 original windows from one of our customers after enduring Minnesota’s brutal winters and summers for 20 years. As per ASTM E2068, the results of our tests reveal that our units showed no signs of chipping, cracking and peeling.

Our Fibrex material is 200% stronger than vinyl and hardly expands and contracts with extreme temperature swings. This is why we weren’t surprised to learn that our windows were as easy to operate as the day they had been installed.

Choosing Fibrex material over vinyl for your bow, picture, specialty, and casement window replacement is a decision you won’t regret. To put your project into motion, call Renewal by Andersen of Rapid City at (605) 341-7831 now to schedule your FREE in-home consultation. We serve Spearfish, SD and nearby communities.
